WHAT IS THE PHOENIX PROGRAM?
In February 2021 the Washington State Supreme Court ruled that a simple drug possession statute crime is unconstitutional and void. In partnership with King County, ACHD's Phoenix Program works to ensure all cases are heard and that people have access to holistic support during the expungement process.
The Phoenix Program receives funding from King County.
WHAT SERVICES DOES ACHD PROVIDE?
Services depend on each person's unique situation. Our multilingual team can help you navigate your options, and understand the process of expunging your record. Our team can also help connect you to supports in all areas of your life, like housing, food access, education, and employment.
If you are in need of legal assistance, ACHD can connect you with the King County Expungement Program and can help you navigate any language or cultural barriers.
