African Community Housing & Development is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting, culturally responsive and innovative programs to help improve the lives of the African Diaspora in King County. We are very proud of the progress we continue to make. "Our program participants include Business Leaders, Community Leaders, families and individuals from Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Oromo, Sudan, Kenya, The Gambia, Senegal, Congo, and Nigeria in S. King County, WA. Our work builds power to our community by uplifting our community voices through community cafes, training and workshops that help us create an informed community. ACHD staff is continuously engaged in applying opportunities to raise awareness around environmental resilience and social justice. Our goal is to impact the displacement of the African Diaspora Community."
